John Whalley Charity (Whalley’s Charity) 

About – the charity was established in 1670 to provide financial support to poor children to help them learn a trade through apprenticeships. 

Today - The Charity continues to support young people aged 16-25, who live in the parishes of Stony Stratford, Cosgrove and Old Stratford. 

Apply - if you are aged 16-25 you can apply for a grant of between £100-£150 to support your technical and vocational training. Email [email protected] for more information.

Trustees Opportunity – if you would like to connect with your community while broadening your skills and perspective join the small board of trustees and make a difference. After a small amount of pre-reading, applications take approximately 20 minutes to consider
